Let’s Fall in love – Family portrait in Kessel

Nelleke is, besides a dear friend, also an amazing photographer. She was our bride about 4 years ago and shortly after she picked up photography herself. She took a mentoring session with us and was so eager to learn she absorbed all the information she could find. That revolved in her growing her business fast. So if you’re living in the Netherlands and looking for a photographer you should totally check out her work!

Besides a photographer, she is also a mom to two beautiful ginger girls. Yes, I’ve always wanted kids with curls or ginger hair, so I’m totally in love with these two little beauties! Together with Hans, her husband, they raise the girls just across the border in the Netherlands.

Perks of being friends is that I regularly get to take their pictures. And last weekend was one of those times. Sun was out, the leaves were colored in the prettiest fall shades and it felt like the perfect Indian summer day.

We chose the Kesselse Heide as a location for the photoshoot and boy, am I glad we did. I just love it there! It feels like you’ve left Belgium and entered a National park in the States or a savannah in Africa (depending on the season) the minute you walk in!
